SYAFL football has
been around since the inception of the league in 2009 by founder James Lyle,
Michelle Lyle Karl Jeffery and J.C. Dominguez as a six-team conference in Tampa, Fl.
Since then, participation has steadily increased. The
founders wanted to create a fun and safe league for players, coaches and
parents. SYAFL prides itself in leadership skills from coaches to players and
teaching these young men and women to respect their competition. The SYAFL play
type is very similar to the professional Arena Football League. The SYAFL has
partnered up with the Tampa Bay Storm and Orlando Predators to provide these
young athletes with opportunities of a lifetime.
